266. Lessons from Selling $1M+ in Coaching

I just crossed the million-dollar mark in my coaching business, and I'm taking a moment to celebrate this achievement while sharing the unexpected lessons I've learned along the way. This milestone has been years in the making, and while it feels incredible, it's also taught me some surprising truths about success.

In March, I asked my CFO to track some all-time metrics from the inception of my business, and we discovered we were only $59,000 away from hitting one million dollars in revenue. We claimed it Million-Dollar March, and of course, we made it happen. While this milestone is significant, it's also completely arbitrary and has changed nothing about who I am or how I operate my business.

For those of you chasing your own money milestones—whether six, seven, or eight figures—I'm sharing the emotional, unexpected, and lesser-spoken-about lessons from crossing this threshold. These insights will ground you in what truly matters and remind you why you're here to do big things in the world. The journey to a million dollars has taught me about celebration, finding my voice, co-creating with clients, choosing discomfort, and remembering what really matters.
