26. Warning: The Opposite of Fun Money is Anxious Money

If you've ever caught yourself saying "I'm an anxious person," this episode is your wake-up call. Not “I feel anxious sometimes,” not “I’m having anxious thoughts,” but a full-on identity claim. And the problem isn’t the feeling itself. It’s what happens when you turn a temporary emotional experience into a permanent label, especially when it comes to money, growth, and going after the things you actually want.

In this episode, I’m unpacking why anxiety is so often mistaken for protection, and how that misunderstanding quietly sabotages your relationship with money. I share real moments from my own business where anxiety showed up loud and clear, from signing on the dotted line without guarantees to making decisions that stretched me far beyond what felt comfortable. The difference wasn’t the absence of anxiety. It was refusing to let it decide for me.

Join me this week as I explain why anxious money is the opposite of fun money, how language shapes identity and future outcomes, and what it looks like to notice anxiety without building a life around it. This episode is about separating who you are from what you feel, trusting movement over mental spirals, and remembering that anxiety isn’t a stop sign. It’s often a signal to move.
